When mining the salt crystals, explosives are strictly prohibited to preserve the structures of the crystals. Lamps are carefully crafted by hand to retain the unique, beautiful and natural shape of the rock. The Natural Palm Wax oil does not need to be refined only filtered and deodorized, and is, like olive oil, a "virgin" oil, in the sense that it is extracted by squeezing the fruit.
